NSAS has drawn strategy to revitalize itself and has taken several measures like purchasing additional R & D farm, erecting containment facilities, establishing biotechnology laboratory, renovating existing structure of gene bank and foundation seed storage, constructing additional office cum laboratory building at GIDC, acquiring additional ginning and processing facility at Jadar and inviting qualified manpower to join our endeavour. These measures will improve our strength and equip us better to redouble our efforts in development, production and marketing our best quality high yielding hybrids and varieties of field and vegetable crops. Department of Biotechnology (DBT) has approved our IBSC for monitoring the regulatory compliances in DNA technology research.
